Lee Alexander McQueen created the fashion brand under his own name in 1992 and focused mainly on womenswear and is best known for his controversial yet stunning runway shows. A lot of their designs are targeted about the idea of death and in 2010 he unfortunately committed suicide and his body was found in his closet and at this point Alexander McQueen (brand) was in £32 million of debt. Alexander McQueen also owns the sub-brand MCQ which is targeted at the younger market which they have created many famous designs such as the MCQ Swallow Print. Alexander McQueen is one of our favorite designers here at Fred’s Fashion due to their beautiful designs and high quality accessories.
